FastTrack Schedule 10 has effort driven scheduling, which works great and is a feature that I use often. This version offers the Ribbon and while I walked in familiar with the old interface, the new one was easier for me to learn. I like how I'm able to customize the buttons and make ones I use most, show up wherever I can best remember it.
One of the best pluses of this project management program verses other ones is that they have versions for Mac and Windows. And if someone has MS Project, I can still open their file and use it. I can also send it back in a format MS Project can read.
They also now have an iPad product called FastTrack Schedule Go. With everything this thing does and how compatible it is with other software and hardware, I can't see why I want to use something else.

My favorite thing about FastTrack was the ease of use. It is intuitive and simple to lay out a project plan. I use the program to monitor the tasks that need to be completed, when they need to be done, which people are working on a task, and to keep track of our financial info. FastTrack is an all-around great program that helps us stay organized.

I've used many different pm tools (including fastrack) on both win and mac machines. But, I must say, that fastrack 9 is the BEST pm application on the either the mac or win enviornment. it's simple to use, less expensive than most pm tools and has the features that i and my peers use. the collaboration feature has converted windows users in my office, from ms project to fastrack! not to mention, that we're able to open our current ms project files in fastrack 9 without any problems (and send it back to project users).
the only downside, is that they haven't added effort driven scheduling to their capabilities...which ms project does have.
regardless, if you need a pm tool, go with fastrack!
